Important Note for macOS Apple Silicon (ARM) Machine Users

Many spectrophotometer and printer's screening (HTM) drivers have yet to be updated by their manufacturers to be compatible with ARM architecture. As such, users will find that these device drivers are unavailable if Megarip is run in its default mode on an Apple silicon (ARM-based) Mac.

  • Open a Finder window.
  • Navigate to the Applications/Serendipity/Serendipity Megarip folder.
  • Highlight the Serendipity Client application and select CMD+I or right-click and select Get Info from the menu.
  • Tick the checkbox to enable Open Using Rosetta mode.
  • Repeat the above steps for the Serendipity Megarip and the C5 application if necessary.

  • Run the Megarip Server application. Double-click the desktop shortcut icon, or open the file from the installation directory/bin folder.
  • When the Server window appears, go to the Help menu > Check for Updates option.
