If additional computers on your network require access to Blackmagic, the stand-alone Serendipity Client can be installed on those machines. Download the Serendipity Client installer/s appropriate to the operating system of the additional machine/s.
Many spectrophotometer and printer's screening (HTM) drivers have yet to be updated by their manufacturers to be compatible with ARM architecture. As such, users will find that these device drivers are unavailable if Blackmagic is run in its default mode on an Apple silicon (ARM-based) Mac.
Users installing on Apple silicon Macs will need to run Blackmagic in 'Rosetta' Intel emulation mode to maintain access to these device drivers.
Before running the product Server or Serendipity Client, follow the steps below to enable Rosetta mode for your software:

Navigate to the download location and use the command appropriate for your distribution. Enter "Y" at the prompt to install the package.
sudo dnf install ./serendipity-blackmagic-9.1-1.x86_64.rpm
Post-Installation Group Setup: (requires computer restart)
Once installed, any user login accounts that will be using Blackmagic need to be added to “serendipity” group. Add user to "serendipity" group and then restart the computer:
sudo gpasswd --add username serendipity
For Ubuntu:
sudo apt-get install ./serendipity-blackmagic_9.1-1_amd64.deb
For Debian (requires root access first):
su
apt-get install ./serendipity-blackmagic_9.1-1_amd64.deb
