Important Note for macOS Apple Silicon (ARM) Machine Users

Many spectrophotometer and printer's screening (HTM) drivers have yet to be updated by their manufacturers to be compatible with ARM architecture. As such, users will find that these device drivers are unavailable if Blackmagic is run in its default mode on an Apple silicon (ARM-based) Mac.

  • Open a Finder window.
  • Navigate to the Applications/Serendipity/Serendipity Blackmagic folder.

  • Tick the checkbox to enable Open Using Rosetta mode.
  • Repeat the above steps for the Serendipity Blackmagic and the C5 application if necessary.

  • When the Server window appears, go to the Help menu > Check for Updates option.
